SLA

Formlabs Tough 2000 Resin V2 is a tough, stiff SLA material for mechanically capable functional parts. Its mechanical character is comparable to ABS. A dark matte surface combines an engineering appearance with fine detail, supporting evaluation of both function and exterior design.

Examples include robust enclosures, snap-fit connections, brackets and assembly fixtures. The material is designed to combine toughness, dimensional stability under load and good surface quality. It can support evaluation of designs that are assembled, clipped into place or handled repeatedly.

V2 differs from earlier Tough 2000 formulations. Design work therefore uses its own property data and corresponding post-cure condition. For sustained loads, creep, operating temperature and the actual fastening arrangement are also considered.

Limitations and post-processing

Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
