FDM · Special applications
BEDROCK 3D PPSU is a high-performance thermoplastic for parts exposed to heat, mechanical loads and demanding fluids. Its dimensional stability, creep resistance and inherent flame-retardant character make it a candidate for engineering tasks beyond the usual range of standard filaments.
Potential applications include heat-exposed brackets, process aids and enclosure components. PPSU is particularly relevant when parts encounter hot water, cleaning agents or industrial fluids. Resistance must be assessed for the actual medium and operating conditions.
Processing requires high nozzle and chamber temperatures and a suitable machine profile. Geometry, print orientation and temperature control are therefore considered together. Material documentation is assessed against the intended use and does not replace testing of the finished component.

Limitations and post-processing
Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
