FDM

3DXTECH CarbonX PETG+CF is a carbon fibre reinforced PETG for stiff, dimensionally stable functional parts. The reinforcement reduces flexibility compared with unfilled PETG. Its black engineering appearance suits designs where stiffness and repeatable shape are priorities.

Typical ideas include assembly aids, enclosures, gauges and brackets. Slender supports or drone components can also be evaluated as functional prototypes. The PETG base can be processed in the temperature range of engineering filaments without the high-temperature workflow required by PEEK.

Load direction, wall structure and fasteners matter during design. Carbon fibre content alone does not establish electrical conductivity or ESD suitability. Wear-resistant nozzles are needed for this abrasive filament, and thermal limits are assessed using the relevant data sheet.

Limitations and post-processing

Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
