3DXTECH ThermaX PEI 1010 is a stiff, high-temperature PEI material. It is intended for engineering parts that need to retain useful mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. Dimensional stability, low creep sensitivity and resistance to many industrial fluids make it relevant for demanding designs.
Potential uses include heat-exposed fixtures, brackets and enclosures. Lightweight functional designs can use ribs and carefully positioned fasteners to achieve the required stiffness.
PEI 1010 requires thorough filament drying and controlled processing in a heated chamber. Machine settings and orientation influence residual stress, layer bonding and dimensional accuracy. Grades 1010 and 9085 are treated separately when selecting materials and evaluating properties.

Limitations and post-processing
Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
