3DXTECH ThermaX PEEK is a semi-crystalline high-performance polymer for demanding engineering parts. It combines mechanical capability with resistance to high temperatures and many chemicals. The unfilled grade is useful when the properties of the base polymer are required without fibre reinforcement.
Typical development tasks include process aids, brackets, housings and prototypes for sliding or guiding components. Its natural colour gives it a recognisable engineering appearance. Suitability for particular chemicals, mating surfaces or temperatures is evaluated against the actual operating conditions.
Crystalline structure develops through temperature control during printing and any subsequent heat treatment. It affects both the finished properties and dimensions. A qualified high-temperature profile, controlled cooling and appropriate print orientation are therefore central to manufacturing.

Limitations and post-processing
Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
