Formlabs Grey Resin V5 is a versatile SLA resin for precise models and engineering prototypes. Its rich matte grey colour makes contours, small radii and fine surface details easy to see. It also offers a balanced combination of strength, stiffness and toughness for product development.
Grey Resin V5 can produce housings, presentation models and fit-check prototypes with a smooth, refined surface. It lets you assess how parts fit together, how a product feels in the hand and whether the design details work. Fixtures subject to moderate demands are another potential application.
The V5 formulation was developed for the Form 4 system. Orientation, support locations and post-curing are matched to the geometry. For visible surfaces, we consider where support marks can be placed and which finishing steps suit the desired appearance.
