SLA
The Formlabs Color Kit produces custom-coloured SLA parts with a matte, opaque surface. Color Base Resin is mixed with selected pigments so that colour is present in the material itself. A model can therefore communicate a coloured product appearance without subsequent painting.
This is useful for design models, figurines, enclosure concepts and colour comparisons. Shape and colour can be evaluated together when comparing product ideas. Separate assembly components can also be printed in different mixed colours and then brought together.
Each resin mixture produces one uniform colour; it does not automatically provide multiple colours within a single print. The mixture, base resin version and printer series are specified in advance. Actual colour appearance can vary with geometry, lighting and finishing compared with an on-screen sample.

Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
