Formlabs Clear Resin V5 is a transparent SLA resin for rigid, detailed parts. It is particularly useful when internal features need to remain visible. Its largely colour-neutral appearance supports applications ranging from transparent housings to functional models with internal structures.
Channels, chambers and assemblies can be observed from outside the part. Light-guiding and lighting prototypes, or models that illustrate flow paths, are further possibilities. Combining transparency with fine detail helps explain technical functions using a physical component.
Clarity depends strongly on wall thickness, surface quality and finishing. Sanding and polishing can improve visibility, while curved surfaces also affect the optical appearance. We therefore agree on the required transparency, visible surfaces and functional requirements before manufacturing.

Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
