Bambu Lab ABS-GF combines ABS with glass fibre reinforcement. It is designed for increased stiffness and dimensional stability while providing a fine matte finish. This makes it useful for engineering parts that need to retain their shape under load and have a consistent, understated appearance.
Potential applications include assembly fixtures, brackets, covers and enclosure components. The reinforcement supports stiff designs such as ribs, arms and fastening features. Available colours can also help distinguish tools or functional areas.
Glass fibre reinforcement does not give a printed part identical strength in every direction. Layer orientation, notches and fasteners therefore matter during design. The abrasive filament requires wear-resistant printing components, appropriate drying and controlled processing in an enclosed build chamber.

Limitations and post-processing
Suitability depends on geometry, orientation, print profile and material condition. Drying, annealing, or washing and post-curing are material- and profile-specific. Material data do not certify a part.
