It is intended for stiff engineering parts that combine the properties of the PEEK base with substantial fibre reinforcement. It requires high-temperature FDM processing and is treated as a separate formulation.<\/p><p>Possible development tasks include loaded brackets, process aids, fixtures and lightweight supports. Fibre reinforcement is particularly relevant when deflection needs to be limited. Wall thickness, ribs and the direction of applied forces are considered together during design.<\/p><p>More fibre does not automatically improve every component. Layer bonding, notch sensitivity and toughness must suit the load case.
