FDM \u00b7 Special applications<\/p>

INTAMSYS PEEK-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced high-performance thermoplastic. Its PEEK matrix and fibres are designed to provide high stiffness and dimensional stability, including under demanding thermal conditions. It is a candidate for loaded engineering parts where low weight and limited deflection matter.<\/p>

Examples include stiff brackets, fixtures, supports and functional prototypes. The black finish gives the material a characteristic engineering appearance. Ribs and carefully chosen wall thicknesses can provide stiffness without making the entire component solid.<\/p>

Fibres tend to follow the print path, so strength across layers requires particular attention. High-temperature processing, drying and any annealing step also affect the result. INTAMSYS PEEK-CF is treated as its own formulation, separately from other manufacturers' CF10 and CF20 products.<\/p>
